Empowering Youth for a Sustainable Future
We equip youth to address climate challenges through innovation and advocacy, aligning with the Climate Change Act 2016 and protecting Kwale's vital ecosystems.
Program Overview
Recognizing that Kwale's forests and coasts are vital lifelines, we train young innovators to build digital tools for environmental monitoring and advocacy.
In partnership with WWF Kenya and local research institutes, participants develop prototypes—from mangrove restoration trackers to community weather-alert apps—that are field-tested in Shimba Hills and along the coast.
Over 500 youth engage each year, and 20+ climate-tech solutions have moved into pilot deployment since 2022, creating real impact for environmental protection and community resilience.
